Bonaire sunindex: the best time to travel to Bonaire
Bonaire is a water sports paradise. Divers and snorkelers mainly travel here to discover the underwater world. The island is larger than Aruba but has a lower population figure and fewer hotels can be found here. The hotels on Bonaire are not as luxurious, not as big and much more informal than the hotels on the other Leeward Islands.

Bonaire is ideal for a water sports and/or sun holiday during the winter season. Pleasant temperatures between 28-32 degrees Celsius (82.4-87.8 degrees Fahrenheit), many hours of sunshine and low precipitation figures make this island very suitable for a winter sun holiday. Diving conditions are ideal because of calm seas with pleasant temperatures of 26-27 degrees Celsius (78.8-80.6 degrees Fahrenheit)
