the best times to travel to sunny destinations

Kenya sunindex: the best time to travel to Kenya
Kenya is a popular winter sun destination in Africa. Especially the coastal places are very suitable as a sunny destination. In total, Kenya has more than 500 kilometers of coastline. Until 1964 Kenya was an English colony. This is why most people still speak English. In most cases the interior of Kenya is less suitable as a winter sun destination. This is because most places in the interior are located at a higher altitude, especially in the northern and western parts of the country. The southern part of Kenya is not suitable as a destination because of the drought and poverty here. However, it is recommended to visit the interior of the country. One of the national parks is well worth visiting, too. Several of these national parks are Unesco preservation sites as well as the ancient city of Luma and Fort Jesus near Mombassa. The national parks and reserves are probably the main tourist attractions in the country. These parks are home to many animal species such as lions, elephants, giraffes, water buffalos, zebras and many more. Kenya is home to more than 500 bird species. Over the past few years the situation in Kenya has been unsettled from time to time, this is why it is recommended only to visit the interior in a convoy. The capital Nairobi is unsafe. It is also recommended not to go sailing off the coast because pirates are active here. The beaches of Kenya are beautifully white with palm trees. Most luxurious hotels can be found in this region which is also the safest region in the country.
